This 2008 Custom Harley-Davidson®, known as the “Tough Train,” came to life under the hands of Russell Mitchell of Exile Cycles. Numerous chopper and custom motorcycle magazines have featured this build. When Russell originally built it, the project ran approximately $6,500 — a figure that reflects the craftsmanship and detail he poured into every element. This is a rare opportunity to own a one-of-a-kind custom build.
The bike carries Exile’s signature styling, including a chiseled Exile logo in the gas tank, which sits mounted Frisco-style to give it a true chopper attitude. The sheet metal carries a black patina finish, while the component parts wear a satin black powder coat — giving the bike its aggressive and timeless look.
A jockey shift paired with a centrifugal clutch adds authentic chopper character — and makes the riding experience as unique as the bike itself.
If you know Exile Cycles, you know how rare it is to find one of these builds available. Own a genuine Russell Mitchell creation now. This is your chance!
I know this process well and will recognize immediately if something isn’t legitimate. I’ve been buying and selling motorcycles for over 30 years.
This is a one-of-a-kind custom chopper. It still carries a Harley-Davidson Softail Night Train title, but Russell Mitchell of Exile Cycles built and customized every inch of it — something only he can do.
